James and I both attended Sheboygan South High School and vaguely knew of each other. We officially met at a New Year's Eve party in 2007 at a friend's house when I was a senior and he was a junior. The attraction was immediately mutual. We left that night both declaring our interest in each other to our friends.

We saw each other again a few weeks later at Winter Formal and it was there where we shared our first dance together.

We officially started dating on June 8, 2008.

In August I went off to Marquette University and a year later he went to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. We did the long distance thing for 6 years, but enjoyed the weekends and summers that we got to spend together.

On July 18, 2015 James proposed on the edge of the pier at my grandma's cottage on Cedar Lake while my family watched from a distance.

These days we live in Wauwatosa, WI. James is a CPA and works as a Senior Tax Accountant in Brookfield. I am a Registered Nurse and I work in the operating room at Columbia St Mary's Milwaukee.

In our free time when I am not on call and it's not tax season, our favorite things to do are going to my grandma's cottage and traveling as much as possible. We've taken terrific trips to New York City, Puerto Rico, Nashville, and Washington DC to name a few.

We are so looking forward to celebrating our wedding day with all of you!

ACCOMMODATIONS

We have a shuttle that will be running between area hotels and The Rustic Manor. It will start picking up before the ceremony and will start shuttling people back to hotels later in the evening. More details of timing to come!

We made a reservation block at one local hotel so far. Please call and make reservations as soon as you know you can attend the wedding. Make sure to mention our names to receive the discount!

PARKING

If you choose to drive your car, there will be plenty of parking at the barn. And if you've enjoyed yourself too much-- and we hope that you do-- there are local taxis to pick you up. Just be sure to pick your car up before 10AM on Sunday
